حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَيْفَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْكَ الْوَحْيُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فِي مِثْلِ صَلْصَلَةِ الْجَرَسِ فَيَفْصِمُ عَنِّي وَقَدْ وَعَيْتُ مَا قَالَ» قَالَ «وَهُوَ أَشَدُّ عَلَيَّ وَأَحْيَانًا يَأْتِينِي الْمَلَكُ فَيَتَمَثَّلُ لِي فَيُكَلِّمُنِي مَا يَقُولُ»

✧ He asked the Prophet ﷺ, “How does the revelation come down to you?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Like the ringing of a bell, and then it departs from me after I have understood what it said.” He said, “It is more intense for me, and sometimes the angel comes to me in the form of a man and speaks to me what he says.”
