حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَفِيهِمُ ابْنُ نَوْفَلٍ فِي أَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالُوا «فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَجُعِلَ فِي لَحْدِهِ سَحْقُ قَطِيفَةٍ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ»

✧ I asked the family of Muhammad ﷺ, among whom was Ibn Nawfal, in what the Messenger of God ﷺ was shrouded. They said, "In a red garment without a shirt, and a worn velvet cloth that belonged to them was placed in his grave niche."
