حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْفَرَّاءُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي طَعَامٍ فَتَنَاوَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ خَادِمَ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ مَنْدِيلًا فَتَنَاوَلَهُ ثَوْبَهُ فَمَسَحَ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَتَمَنْدَلْ بِثَوْبِ مَنْ لَمْ تَكْسُ»

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at a meal. A man from the people took the household servant’s napkin, but the servant took hold of his garment and wiped himself with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not wipe yourself with the garment of someone you have not clothed.”
