حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْفَرَّاءُ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ

كَانِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَلَا تُخَالِفْ آذانَكُمْ ثُمَّ قُولُوا اللهُ أَكْبَرُ سُبْحَانَكَ اللهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَزِيدُوا عَلَى التَّكْبِيرِ أَجْزَأَتْكُمْ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us: “When you stand for prayer, raise your hands level with your ears and do not let them deviate from your ears. Then say: Allahu Akbar, glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise, blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god but You. If you do not add anything to the takbir, it will suffice you.”
