حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَاجِبٍ

عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ النَّقِيرِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمَةِ وَنَهَى أَنْ يَتَطَهَّرَ الرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِ طَهُورِ الْمَرْأَةِ»

Translation

✧ "A man from the Banu Ghifar, from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated that the Prophet ﷺ forbade the offering of sacrificial animals to an idol, selling an animal by estimating its weight, and the practice of Dubba' (a type of divination). He also prohibited a man from purifying himself with the water used for ablution by a woman."
