قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ

أَبِي «تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَثَمَانِينَ وَمَاتَ عَلَى عَشْرَةِ أَمْيَالٍ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ فَحُمِلَ عَلَى رِقَابِ الرِّجَالِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ مَرْوَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْوَالِيَ عَلَيْهَا وَأَسْلَمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً»

Translation

✧ My father said: "He died at the age of eighty-three, and he died ten miles from Madinah, and was carried on the shoulders of men to Madinah. Marwān was the governor of it at that time. He embraced Islam when he was nineteen years old."
