حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ «كُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللهِ» قَالَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ سَمِعْتُ مِنْجَابَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ يَقُولُ «هَذَا خَطَأٌ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ شَرِيكٌ أَخْبَرَنَا بِهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ» «حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَلَيْسَ بِصَحِيحٍ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ شَرِيكٌ»

Translation

✧ I ate food with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, “Eat with your right hand, eat from what is near you, and mention the name of Allah.” Al-Hadrami said: I heard Minjab b. al-Harith say, “This is a mistake that Sharik made in it. 'Ali b. Mushir informed us of it from Hisham b. 'Urwah from his father from 'Umar b. Abi Salamah from the Prophet ﷺ something similar.” He said, “Hamzah b. 'Amr is not sound; Sharik erred in it.”
