حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ ثنا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ثنا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِيَّ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ فِي السَّفَرِ فَقَالَ «إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَفْطِرْ»

✧ That Hamzah b. 'Amr al-Aslami asked the Prophet ﷺ about fasting while traveling, and he said, "If you wish, then fast, and if you wish, then break the fast."
