حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيًّ ؓ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي جَبَانٌ وَإِنِّي ضَعِيفٌ قَالَ «هَلُمَّ إِلَى جِهَادٍ لَا شَوْكَةَ فِيهِ الْحَجُّ»
