حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصُّوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الْكَلْبِيِّ قَالَ
رَمَى رَجُلٌ الْحُسَيْنَ وَهُوَ يَشْرَبُ فَشُلَّ شِدْقُهُ فَقَالَ «لَا أَرْوَاكَ اللهُ» قَالَ «فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى تَفَطَّرَ»
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥaḍramī
✧ A man threw (something) at al-Husayn while he was drinking, and his jaw was paralyzed, so he said, "May Allah not quench your thirst." He said, "So he drank until it overflowed."
