حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبَانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْتَ فَاطِمَةَ فَنَاوَلَتْهُ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ مَطْبُوخَةٍ فَأَكَلَهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَأَخَذَتْ ثِيَابَهُ فَقَالَتْ أَلَا تَوَضَّأُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «مِمَّ يَا بُنَيَّةُ؟» قَالَتْ قَدْ أَكَلْتَ مِمَّا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَطْهَرَ طَعَامِكُمْ لَمَا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ»

✧ He entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Fatimah's house, and she handed him a cooked shoulder of a sheep. He ate it, then stood to pray. She took hold of his clothes and said, "Will you not perform ablution, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "From what, my dear daughter?" She said, "You have eaten from that which the fire has touched." He said, "The purest of your food is that which the fire has touched."
