حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ أَهْلَكَ اللهُ بِهِ بَعْضَ الْأُمَمِ وَقَدْ بَقِيَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ يَجِيءُ أَحْيَانًا وَيَذْهَبُ أَحْيَانًا فَإِذَا وَقَعَ وَأَنْتُمْ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ فِي أَرْضٍ فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “This epidemic is a punishment with which Allah destroyed some nations, and some of it remains on the earth, coming at times and going at times. So if it occurs while you are in a land, do not leave it; and if you hear of it in a land, do not go there.”
