حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْخُذُنِي وَالْحُسَيْنَ فَيَقْعُدُ أَحَدُنَا عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَالْآخَرُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَيَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُمَا فَأَحِبَّهُمَا»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to take me and Al-Hussein, and one of us would sit on his right thigh and the other on his left thigh, and he would say, "O Allah, I love them, so love them."
