حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى شِيرَانُ الرَّامَهُرْمُزِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ خَطَبَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ إِلَى مَنْظُورِ بْنِ سَيَّارِ بْنِ رَيَّانَ الْفَزَارِيِّ ابْنَتَهُ فَقَالَ
«وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُنْكِحُكَ وَإِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ غَلِقٌ طَلِقٌ مَلِقٌ غَيْرَ أَنَّكَ أَكْرَمُ الْعَرَبِ بَيْتًا وأَكْرَمُهُ نَسَبًا»
Translation

✧ By Allah, I will marry you off, and I know that you are prone to attachment, prone to divorce, and flattering, except that you are the noblest of the Arabs in house and the noblest in lineage.
