✧ The lineage of Zubayr b. al-Awwam "Zubayr b. al-Awwam b. Khawilid b. Asad b. Abd al-Uzza b. Qusayy b. Kilab b. Murrah b. Ka'b b. Lu'ayy b. Ghalib b. Fihr b. Malik, known as Abu Abdullah, and his mother: Safiyyah bt. Abd al-Muttalib, the aunt of the Messenger.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْأَرْضُ أَرْضُ اللهِ وَالْعِبَادُ عِبَادُ اللهِ فَحَيْثُ وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ خَيْرًا فَلْيَتَّقِ اللهَ وَلْيُقِمْ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "The earth is God's earth and the servants are God's servants. Wherever one of you finds good, let him fear God and stay."
