حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّرْمَقِيُّ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَالِدٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي أَبِي إِلَى جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
اقْرَأْ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَقُلْ لَهُ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً صَالِحَةً فَاتُّبِعَ فِيهَا وَعُمِلَ بِهَا» قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ وَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ «لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً فَاتُّبِعَ فِيهَا وَعُمِلَ بِهَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ إِثْمِ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ إِثْمِهِمْ شَيْءٌ»

✧ Convey peace to him and ask him how he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “Whoever establishes a good practice and is followed in it and it is acted upon.” He said: I went to him and asked him, and he said: “He has the like of the reward of every man who acts upon it, without their rewards being diminished in anything. And whoever establishes a bad practice and is followed in it and it is acted upon bears the like of the sin of every man who acts upon it, without their sins being diminished in anything.”
