حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيِّ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَسُنُّ سُنَّةً حَسَنَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فَيُعْمَلُ بِهَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً سَيِّئَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فَيُعْمَلُ بِهَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ بِهَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْءٌ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “There is no one who establishes a good practice in Islam that is acted upon after him except that he has the like of the reward of those who act upon it after him, without their rewards being diminished in anything. And whoever establishes a bad practice in Islam that is acted upon after him bears the like of the burdens of those who act upon it after him, without their burdens being diminished in anything.”
