حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الدِّيبَاجِيُّ التُّسْتَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَوْدِيُّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Islam is built upon five: the testimony that there is no god but Allah, the establishment of prayer, the giving of zakat, the pilgrimage to the House, and the fast of Ramadan.”
