حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ
«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا بَايَعَ بَايَعَ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَالسَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ accepted allegiance, he would accept it upon the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the establishment of prayer, the giving of zakah, hearing and obeying Allah and His Messenger, and sincere counsel to every Muslim.
