Disbelief of the Misguided Jahmiyyah about the Beatific Vision

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ لَا أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَضَرَبَ يَدَهُ عَلَى صَدْرِي حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ يَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا» فَمَا سَقَطْتُ عَنْ فَرَسٍ بَعْدُ

✧ I was not steady on horses, so I mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He struck his hand on my chest until I saw the mark of his hand on my chest, and said: "O Allah, make him firm and make him guided and guiding." After that, I never fell from a horse.
