حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ الْخَيَّاطُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ رَبَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِيَانًا كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا لَا تُضَامُونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَنْ صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ فَافْعَلُوا» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ} قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ زِيَادَةُ لَفْظَةِ قَوْلِهِ عِيَانًا تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو شِهَابٍ وَهُوَ حَافَظٌ مُتْقِنٌ مِنْ ثِقَاتِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Translation

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and he looked at the moon on the night of the full moon and said: “Indeed you will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection clearly (ʿiyānan) just as you see this, not being harmed in seeing Him. So if you are able not to be overcome in respect of a prayer before sunrise and before sunset, then do so.” Then he recited: {And glorify the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.} Abu al-Qasim said: In this hadith there is an additional wording, namely his saying “clearly (ʿiyānan),” which Abu Shihab alone narrated, and he is a careful memorizer of the trustworthy Muslims.
