حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ مَعْقِلٍ قَالَتْ

أَرَدْتُ الْحَجَّ فَضَلَّ بَعِيرِي فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «اعْتَمِرِي فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ أَنَّ عُمْرَةً فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً»

✧ I intended to perform Hajj, but my camel went astray. I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said, "Perform ʿumrah in the month of Ramadan, for an ʿumrah in the month of Ramadan is equivalent to a Hajj."
