حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو عَلْقَمَةَ الْفَرْوِيُّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَتْ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَتْ فِي الْبَيْتِ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَكَثْتُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أَمْكُثَ ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ»

✧ I entered upon 'A'ishah and said, "Where is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" She said, "He is in the house, receiving revelation." Then I remained as long as Allah willed that I remain. Then I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "O 'A'ishah, this is Jibril ﷺ conveying peace to you."
