حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ أنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ الْجُشَمِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخٍ لَهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ جَعْدَةُ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى لَهُ رَجُلٌ رُؤْيَا فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ فَقَصَّهَا عَلَيْهِ وَكَانَ عَظِيمَ الْبَطْنِ فَقَالَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي بَطْنِهِ «لَوْ كَانَ هَذَا فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw a man who had a dream, so he sent for him. He came and narrated it to him. He had a large belly. He said, pointing with his finger at his belly, 'If this were in something other than this, it would be better for you.'
