حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ

عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَلَا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ} قَالَتْ مِنْهُ النَّوْحُ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِينَ بَايَعْنَاهُ أَنْ لَا نَعْصِينَهُ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ

✧ From Umm 'Atiyyah regarding His saying {and they will not disobey you in what is right}, she said: Part of it is wailing. I said to the Prophet ﷺ when we gave allegiance to him that we would not disobey him in what is right: 'O Messenger of God, except the family of so-and-so.'
