حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ الْقَاضِي حَدَّثَنَا حَيْدُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبُو حَيْدَرَةَ ثنا صِلَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ

كُنَّا «نُؤْمَرُ بِالْخُرُوجِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ ذَوَاتَ الْخُدُورِ وَالْحُيَّضَ فَأَمَّا الْحُيَّضُ فَيَشْهَدْنَ مُصَلًّى الْمُسْلِمِينَ»

✧ We used to be commanded to go out on the two Eids—those in seclusion and the menstruating women. As for the menstruating women, they would witness the prayer area of the Muslims.
