حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ
أَمَرَنَا بِالْخُرُوجِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وُنُخْرِجُ الْحُيَّضَ وَالْعَوَاتِقَ وَذَوَاتَ الْخُدُورِ فَأَمَّا الْحُيَّضُ فَيَشْهَدْنَ جَمَاعَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَدَعْوَتَهُمْ وَيَعْتَزِلْنَ صَلَاتِهِمْ
Translation

✧ He commanded us to go out on the two Eids, and we would bring out the menstruating women, adolescent girls, and those in seclusion. As for the menstruating women, they would witness the gathering of the Muslims and their supplication, and they would keep away from their prayer.
