حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ وَكَانَتْ خَادِمًا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَثَلُ الرَّافِلَةِ فِي الزِّينَةِ فِي غَيْرِ أَهْلِهَا كَمَثَلِ الظُّلْمَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا نُورَ لَهَا»

✧ From Maymūnah bt. Saʿd, who was a servant of the Prophet ﷺ, she said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: The likeness of a woman who walks proudly in adornment in other than her own people is like the darkness of the Day of Resurrection: she has no light.
