حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زُرَيْقِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ آمِنَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ أَفْتِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ لَمْ يَغْزُ وَأَعْطَى مَالَهُ يُغْزَى عَلَيْهِ فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ أَمْ لِلْمُنْطَلِقِ؟ قَالَ لَهُ أَجْرُ مَالِهِ وَلِلْمُنْطَلِقِ أَجْرُ مَا احْتُسِبَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

✧ She said: Give us a ruling, O Messenger of God, about one who did not go on campaign but gave his wealth so that others campaign with it: does he have a reward, or the one who set out? He said: He has the reward of his wealth, and the one who set out has the reward of what he counted upon from that.
