حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ فُرَيْعَةَ بِنْتِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا قُتِلَ بِالْقُدُومِ قَالَتْ

فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ زَوْجَهَا قُتِلَ بِالْقُدُومِ وَإِنَّ لَهَا أَهْلًا فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْتَقِلَ فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَتْ دَعَاهَا فَقَالَ «امْكُثِي فِي بَيْتِكِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا»

✧ She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said that her husband had been killed at al-Qudūm and that she had family. He ordered her to move, but when she turned away, he called her and said: “Stay in your house until the prescribed period reaches its term: four months and ten days.”
