حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمَيُّ ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَلَمْ أَجِدُهُ فَانْتَظَرْتُهُ حَتَّى دَخَلَ فَقُلْتُ دَخَلَ عَلِيَّ ابْنُ أُمِّي تَعْنِي عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ حَمَوَيَّ ابْنِيْ هُبَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي قَدْ أَجَرْتُهُما فَقَالَ مَا ذَلِكَ لَكِ تُجِيرِينَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا فَاطِمَةُ اسْكُبِي لِي مَاءً فَاغْتَسَلَ» ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the conquest, but I did not find him, so I waited for him until he entered. I said: The son of my mother—meaning 'Ali b. Abi Talib—entered upon me and wanted to kill my two brothers-in-law, the sons of Hubayrah. I said: I have granted them protection. He said: "That is not for you—will you grant protection to the polytheists?" The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "We have granted protection to whomever you have protected." Then he said: "O Fatimah, pour water for me," so he bathed. Then he prayed eight rak'ahs in a single garment, with its two ends crossed.
