حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثنا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ
أَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَأَتَانِي بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ وَسَقَاها قَالَتْ إِنِّي كُنْتُ صَائِمَةً وَلَكِنِّي كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ عَلَيْكَ شَرَابُكَ قَالَ «كُنْتِ تَقْضِينَ؟» قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ «لَا يَضُرُّكِ»

✧ She entered upon the Messenger of God ﷺ on the day of the conquest of Makkah. He brought me a drink, drank from it, and gave her to drink. She said, “I was fasting, but I disliked to refuse your drink.” He said, “Were you making up a fast?” I said, “No.” He said, “It does not harm you.”
