حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمُّ هَانِئٍ «إِنِّي كُنْتُ

لَأَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَرِيشَتِي يَعْنِي قِرَاءَتَهُ فِي صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ» وَأَبُو الْعَلَاءِ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ مِسْعَرٌ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ هُوَ هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ

Translation

✧ “I would hear the voice of the Messenger of God ﷺ while I was on my wooden couch—meaning his recitation during the night prayer.” Abu al-‘Ala', from whom Mis'ar narrated this hadith, is Hilal b. Khabbab.
