حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ جَرْهَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ قَالَ جَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدَنَا وَفَخِذِي مُنْكَشِفَةٌ فَقَالَ «أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ؟»

✧ Al-Qa‘nabi narrated to us from Malik, from Abu al-Nadr, from Zur‘ah b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Jarhad, from his father, who said: Jarhad was one of the Ahl al-Suffah. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat with us while my thigh was uncovered, so he said: “Do you not know that the thigh is ‘awrah?”
