حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ قُلْتُ كَمْ طَلَاقُ حَفْصِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو إِيَّاكِ؟ فَقَالَتْ

طَلَّقَنِي ثَلَاثًا وَهُوَ خَارِجٌ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَأَجَازَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَعَثْتُ إِلَى أَهْلِ زَوْجِي أَسْأَلُهُمْ نَفَقَتِي فَأَرَادُوا إِخْراجِي مِنْ مَنْزِلِي فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «انْتَقِلِي إِلَى ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ»

✧ "He divorced me three times while he was setting out for Yemen, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ affirmed that. I sent to my husband's family asking them for my maintenance, and they wanted to turn me out of my dwelling. So I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: 'Move to the house of Ibn Umm Maktum.'"
