حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الْبَرْبَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ

لَقِيتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ بِالْحَرَّةِ فَسَأَلْتُهَا كَيْفَ كَانَ أَمْرُهَا؟ فَقَالَتْ طَلَّقَنِي زَوْجِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ وَوَكَّلَ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَأَعْطَانِي نَفَقَةً فَرَافَعْتُهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَا نَفَقَةَ لَكِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا سُكْنَى»

✧ I met Fatimah bt. Qays at al-Harrah and asked her how her affair had been. She said: "My husband Abu 'Amr divorced me before he departed for Yemen, and he appointed 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah as his agent and gave me some maintenance. I brought the matter before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: 'You are entitled to neither maintenance nor housing from them.'"
