حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا الْمَخْزُومِيَّ طَلَّقَهَا فَأَبَى

أَنْ يُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهَا فَجَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا نَفَقَةَ لَكِ فَاذْهَبِي فَانْتَقِلِي إِلَى ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُونِي عِنْدَهُ فَإِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ أَعْمَى تَضَعِينَ ثِيَابَكِ عِنْدَهُ»

✧ That he should spend on her, so she came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and informed him. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "You have no maintenance, so go and move to Ibn Umm Maktum and stay with him, for he is a blind man; you can put down your garments with him."
