حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَنَا مَالِكٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضَةِ فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْتَسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي»

✧ that Fatimah b. Abu Hubaysh said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have irregular bleeding, shall I abandon the prayer?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "That is only from a vein and it is not menstruation. When the menstruation begins, then abandon the prayer, and when it ends, wash off the blood and pray."
