حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ قَالَتْ

«مَاتَ مَوْلًى لِي وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَالَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ ابْنَتِهِ فَجَعَلَ لِيَ النِّصْفَ وَلَهَا النِّصْفَ»

Translation

✧ A client of mine died and left his daughter, so the Messenger of God ﷺ divided his wealth between me and his daughter, giving me half and her half.
