حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنَا نَائِلَةُ عَنْ أُمِّ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ السَّوْدَاءِ قَالَتْ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لِأُبَايِعَهُ فَقَالَ «انْطَلِقِي فَاخْتَضِبِي ثُمَّ تَعَالَى حَتَّى أُبَايِعَكِ»

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ to give him my oath of allegiance, and he said: “Go and dye yourself with henna, then come back so that I may accept your allegiance.”
