حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَأْتِينَا فَنَأْتِيهِ بِمِيضَأَةٍ لَنَا فِيهَا مَاءٌ يَأْخُذُ بِمُدِّ الْمَدِينَةِ مُدًّا وَنِصْفًا أَوْ ثُلُثَا فَأَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَيُمَضْمِضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَمْسَحُ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَيَمْسَحُ بِأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا ويُطَهِّرُ قَدَمَيْهِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to come to us, and we would bring him a water vessel of ours containing water, taking a mudd and a half or two-thirds of the Madinan mudd. I would pour for him, and he would wash his hands three times, rinse his mouth and snuff water, wash his face three times, wipe his head once, and wipe his ears, their outer and inner parts, and purify his feet.
