حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ قَالُوا ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ خَلَفِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ

أَسَمِعْتِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «أَوَّلُ مَا يُوضَعُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ الْخُلُقُ الْحَسَنِ»

✧ “Did you hear anything from the Prophet ﷺ?” She said, “Yes. I entered upon him while he was sitting in the gathering, and I heard him say, ‘The first thing to be placed in the Balance is good character.’”
