✧ The Greenery of the Prophet's Servant ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَمُجَمِّعِ ابْنِي يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ خَنْسَاءَ بِنْتِ خِدَامٍ

أَنَّ أَبَاهَا زَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتٌ كَارِهَةً فَرَدَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «نِكَاحَهَا»

✧ Her father married her off while she was a matron, and she was unwilling, so the Prophet ﷺ “rejected her marriage.”
