✧ The Greenery of the Prophet's Servant ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ خَنْسَاءَ بِنْتِ خِدَامِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَنَّهَا أَيِمَتْ مِنْ رَجُلٍ فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَأَنَّهَا حَبَّتْ إِلَى أَبِي لُبَابَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ فَارْتَفَعَ

شَأْنُهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ رَجُلٌ فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَأَنَّهَا حَنَّتْ إِلَى أَبِي لُبَابَةَ

✧ Her case was brought to the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he ordered a man, and her father married her to a man from Banu Amr b. Awf; and she longed for Abu Lubabah.
