al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 21081

✧ Khawlah bt. Hakim b. Umayah b. Harithah b. al-Auqas b. Marrah b. Hilal As-Sulamiyyah "The Wife of Uthman b. Mazh'un, and she was among those who dedicated themselves to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ عَنِ الْوَازِعِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَحِيضُ وَلَيْسَ لِي إِلَّا ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ قَالَ «اغْسِلِيهِ وَصَلِّي فِيهِ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ يَبْقَى فِيهِ أَثَرُ الدَّمِ قَالَ «لَا يَضُرُّكِ»

✧ I said: “O Messenger of Allah, I menstruate and I have only one garment.” He said: “Wash it and pray in it.” I said: “O Messenger of Allah, the trace of blood remains in it.” He said: “It will not harm you.”
