حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأُتِيَ بِعُسٍّ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَعْطِيهِنَّ» لِنِسْوَةٍ عِنْدَهُ فَقُلْنَ لَا نَشْتَهِيهِ فَقَالَ «لَا تَجْمَعْنَ كَذِبًا وَجُوعًا»

✧ That she was with the Prophet ﷺ when a bowl of milk was brought. He drank from it and then said, “Give it to them,” referring to women with him. They said, “We do not desire it.” He said, “Do not combine lying and hunger.”
