حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا دَهْثَمُ بْنُ قُرَّانٍ ثنا نِمْرَانُ بْنُ جَارِيَةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
ضَرَبَ رَجُلٌ رَجُلًا بِالسَّيْفِ عَلَى سَاعِدِهِ عَلَى غَيْرِ مَفْصِلٍ فَاسْتَعْدَى عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَضَى لَهُ بِالدِّيَةِ وَأَرَادَ الْمَضْرُوبُ الْقِصَاصَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ فِيهَا» وَلَمْ يَقْضِ لَهُ بِالْقِصَاصِ

✧ A man struck another with a sword on his forearm, not at a joint. The victim brought a complaint to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ruled for blood money. The injured man wanted retaliation, so the Prophet ﷺ said: "May Allah bless it for you," but he did not rule for retaliation.
