حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا دَهْثَمُ بْنُ قُرَّانٍ ثنا نِمْرَانُ بْنُ جَارِيَةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
اخْتَصَمَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَوْمٌ فِي خُصٍّ فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَضَى لِلَّذِي يَلِيهِمُ الْقِمْطُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَبَّرَهُ فَقَالَ «أَصَبْتَ أَوْ أَحْسَنْتَ»

✧ A people disputed before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ over a booth, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Hudhayfah to judge between them, and he ruled in favor of the one whose side faced the cords of the booth. When he returned to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, he said: "You have judged correctly, or: You have done well."
