حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ يُصِيبُهُمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ لَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ سَابِقَ الْقَدَرِ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ»

✧ She said to the Prophet ﷺ, "The evil eye afflicts the sons of Ja'far; should I seek ruqyah for them?" He said, "Yes, for if anything could outpace the divine decree, the evil eye would outpace it."
