حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ أَيْ بُنَيَّ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ؟ وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي وَقَدْ نَزَلَتْ عِنْدَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَقُلْتُ لَا فَصَلَّتْ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ قَالَتْ أَيْ بُنَيَّ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ؟ قَالَ وَقَدْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَتْ فَارْتَحِلُوا فَارْتَحَلْنَا ثُمَّ مَضَيْنَا بِهَا حَتَّى رَمَتِ الْجَمْرَةَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ فَصَلَّتِ الصُّبْحَ فِي مَنْزِلِهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهَا أَيْ هَنْتَاهُ لَقَدْ غَلَسَتْ فَقَالَتْ «أَيْ بُنَيَّ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ أَذِنَ لِلظُّعُنِ»

✧ She said on the night of Jamʿ: O my son, has the moon set? She was praying, and had alighted near Muzdalifah. I said: No. She prayed a little, then said: O my son, has the moon set? He said: The moon had set. I said: Yes. She said: Then depart. So we departed and went on with her until she threw the pebble at the Jamrah, then she returned and prayed the morning prayer at her lodging. I said to her: O you, you have gone very early in the dark. She said: “O my son, the Prophet of God ﷺ gave permission for the women’s litters.”
